To begin, Caroline had her first meeting with her cousins, Cole (6) and Mari (3). Talk about love! Caroline enjoyed staring intently at her cousins, and they loved holding her! Mari was practically glued to Caroline the whole time... many times she would say, "I think Caroline wants me to hold her now." Super cute! It was a fun evening.

As mentioned earlier, Caroline also had her first cold. It lasted for about 4 weeks... ugh! She was super congested and was coughing and sneezing. Her little nose and face were so stuffed up that it turned into an ear infection. The antibiotics led to thrush and a diaper rash from yeast. Let's just say that I made friends with the nurse and front desk staff at the pediatrician's office. Four doctor's visits (and a lot of antifungal cream for her bottom) later, Caroline was back to her healthy self. Although I hated how crummy she felt, I did treasure the times she wanted to snuggle with me and the steam showers that were full of singing and smiles.
Once Caroline was all better, our little family went out to eat. We went to Don Ramon's, and Caroline enjoyed looking at the colorful decorations and napping in her car seat. She prompted lots of people to stop by our table and say hello, and we had fun showing her off!
We also went to Huntington Beach's Central Park to take a walk and feed the ducks. We stopped by the playground to swing and go down the slide. Caroline was very busy taking in all the new sights and sounds. She loved when Ryan fed the ducks and pigeons... she kept kicking her little feet and babbling to the birds. I hope we have a little animal lover on our hands!
Lastly, we celebrated Caroline's first Easter. We put together an Easter basket filled with books and summer gear. She got two bathing suits, a hat, a cover-up, and two pairs of sunglasses. She is officially set to go swimming with her mommy, daddy, and aunties. Caroline's lucky she has four swim instructors and lifeguards in her family. Mommy and Daddy will make sure this girl knows how to swim!

That's all for now, and I'll try to be better at posting more frequently. Caroline's going to be 3 months old next week, and we'll have lots more adventures ahead!
